Fremont Restaurant and Bar for Sale or Lease
Fremont is located in Alameda County and is the fourth most populous city in the San Francisco Bay Area. Incorporated on January 23, 1956, Fremont was merged from the five communities of Centerville, Niles, Irvington, Mission San Jose, and Warm Springs and is named after John Charles Fremont, 'The Great Pathfinder'. The area consisting of Fremont, Newark and Union City is referred to as the Tri-City Area.
Many of Fremont's office/R&D parks are located along the Interstate 880 corridor, which bisects a majority of the building base. Interstate 680 to the East is a major thoroughfare – serving commuters from San Francisco, the East Bay and from San Jose to the south. Fremont's major business park is Ardenwood – home to many biotech upstarts and a few mature companies, this area offers great options for companies seeking office space. With many manufacturing jobs relocating overseas, much of Fremont’s former commercial space has been repurposed as large mixed-use projects and strip malls. With a relatively small building base and increasing demand from business owners, Downtown Fremont office space can be difficult to secure. Starboard TCN's experienced agents and brokers can help streamline the process of finding the commercial space each client needs.
Fremont is served by Interstate 880 (Nimitz Freeway) and Interstate 680 (Sinclair Freeway). Public transportation in Fremont includes BART, AC Transit, and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, which provides express bus service to various points in Silicon Valley, including downtown San Jose.
